Publishing your mobile app takes just a few steps. This guide covers all the main processes to complete before launching your app to the App Store and Google Play Store.

Why Launch Early in Your Trial Period?​

Bringing your mobile app from concept to reality is only possible by publishing it. We recommend launching your app earlier in your trial period so you can start getting installs sooner and potentially make sales even before being charged.

Getting the Most Out of Your Trial Period​

Some merchants believe they need to have the perfect mobile app design before launching. However, the review processes for Google & Apple typically take several days. You can complete a basic design and improve it while your app is being reviewed by Apple & Google.

This approach saves valuable time that might otherwise be lost trying to perfect the design before launch. Don't let perfectionism cause unnecessary delays.

Main Steps to Publish Your Mobile Apps​

Step 1: Click the Publish Button​

To publish your app, click the Publish button located in the top right corner of the Taptool dashboard.

When you click this button, a dropdown menu will appear with two options:

  1. Publish Theme - This option allows you to publish your design changes to your app without republishing the entire app
  2. Publish Mobile App - This option initiates the process to publish your app to the App Store and Google Play Store

Step 2: Choose Your Publishing Method​

If you select "Publish Theme":​

Your theme changes will be published immediately, and users will see the updated design the next time they open your app. This is useful for making design updates without going through the app store review process.

If you select "Publish Mobile App":​

You'll be presented with two options for publishing your mobile app:

  1. Click on the "Release apps" tab
  2. Click the "Contact us" button
  3. Our team will guide you through the rest of the process

Option 2: Manual Build​

This option is for advanced users who want more control over the publishing process.

  1. Click on the "Manual build" tab
  2. Follow the iOS or Android instructions provided
  3. Generate API keys and complete the necessary configurations
  4. Contact our team when you're ready to proceed with the final steps

Migrating From Another Mobile App Builder​

Publishing your app might require different steps if you're migrating from another mobile app builder to Taptool.
