Creating an Apple Developer Account

To host your Taptool app in the Apple App Store, you need to create an Apple Developer account. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Before You Begin

Before starting your Apple Developer enrollment, there are a few important things to know:

important
  • There is an annual $99 fee for the Apple Developer Program.
  • To prevent any disruption to your account, we recommend setting this to auto-renew when creating your account.
  • If you have an existing Apple Developer Account as an individual, you can migrate it to a company account following Apple's migration guide.
  • You must have a DUNS number for your business before enrolling. Make sure your DUNS number is activated before proceeding.

Fees may change at any time and may include taxes.

What is a DUNS Number?

A D-U-N-S (Data Universal Numbering System) number is a unique nine-digit identifier for businesses, required by Apple to verify your company's identity and legal status. If you don't already have one, you can apply for a DUNS number through Dun & Bradstreet.
